Mechanical Manager needed on a contract basis for an office fit-out project in Vauxhall, close to Battersea, Nine Elms, Lambeth, Kennington, and Waterloo.

My client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Manager with a strong background in commercial office fit-outs and cut and carve to join their expanding team in Central London.

Duties:
• Manage and oversee the delivery of a complex office mechanical installation, including cut and carve works, from start to finish
• Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and subcontractors – must be confident in a client-facing role
• Ensure technical excellence on site, advising operatives when needed and resolving issues as they arise
• Produce and manage weekly/monthly progress reports, tracking milestones and managing programme
• Maintain compliance with all Health and Safety regulations on site

The successful Mechanical Manager will have the following:
• Proven experience managing commercial office mechanical projects, ideally with cut and carve experience
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and installation methodology
• Previous experience as a Mechanical Pipefitter or Engineer before stepping up to management
• Confident communicator with the ability to represent the company to clients and stakeholders
• Able to work full time on site in Vauxhall and travel occasionally if required
