About the Project

We’re working on a combination of residential and commercial projects (e.g. fit-outs, shell & core, apartment blocks, office buildings, retail centres, and mixed-use developments) and require an experienced Electrical Supervisor on a freelance basis. This role involves overseeing electrical works on site, ensuring that standards, safety, schedules, and quality are consistently met across different project types.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all electrical trades on site: electricians, subcontractors

*

Interpret drawings, specifications, and designs; ensure they are correctly implemented

*

Carry out regular inspections and maintain quality control over installation work

*

Coordinate effectively with other trade supervisors, project managers, and site managers

*

Enforce health & safety compliance: ensure RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) are in place, along with PPE and safe systems of work

*

Review test and inspection reports, commissioning documentation, and certifications

*

Track project progress, flag any delays or risks, and escalate where appropriate

*

Support snagging, defect resolution, and preparation of handover documentation

*

Maintain accurate daily and weekly reports, timesheets, and materials usage records

Required Qualifications & Skills

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor

*

Proven experience supervising electrical works on residential and commercial projects

*

Valid ECS Gold Card

*

SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)

*

Full UK Driving Licence
