Location: Bradford office / sites as required / hybrid working considered
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance + Benefits
Hours: 40 per week
Benefits: 20 days holiday + 2 weeks at Christmas (34 days total) | Death in Service | Hybrid flexibility

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking to join a well-established and respected specialist in roofing and cladding? This is a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Manager who wants to oversee a variety of high-quality industrial and commercial projects while working as part of a friendly, supportive and professional team.

As a Contracts Manager, you’ll manage multiple roofing and cladding projects from award through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards. Projects are typically based within one hour of the Bradford office, allowing for an excellent work-life balance with minimal travel.

A well-established UK roofing and cladding contractor delivering quality projects since 2002. The company’s projects span warehouses, retail outlets, offices, manufacturing sites, schools, universities, hospitals and public buildings.

They deliver all types of roofing and cladding systems including industrial cladding, flat roofing, rainscreen cladding, refurbishments and repairs. Their reputation is built on in-depth technical knowledge, quality workmanship and a collaborative approach that ensures successful, cost-effective project delivery every time.

The Role – Contracts Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee multiple roofing and cladding projects through pre-construction, delivery and completion phases. You’ll ensure each project is properly planned, resourced and executed, maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards throughout.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Construction

Attend estimating handovers and plan project delivery

*

Manage client relationships and communication

*

Appoint designers, review and approve drawings

*

Prepare RFI schedules and construction methodologies

*

Agree subcontractor prices and tender programmes

*

Complete RAMS and profit plan reviews with the QS

Construction

*

Coordinate and manage site labour and subcontractors

*

Oversee quality control and programme delivery

*

Monitor Health, Safety and Environmental compliance

*

Liaise closely with the QS on costs, forecasts and change control

*

Manage snagging and close out defects efficiently

General

*

Uphold company policies and SHEQ standards

Skills and Experience Required

*

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager or Site Manager in Roofing and Cladding or Building Envelope projects

*

Strong understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental requirements

*

NVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Construction Management desirable
