Managing Quantity Surveyor – a leading top tier contractor is searching for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join the expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the delivery of design and build projects for an award-winning Tier 1 contractor.

The Package:
– Basic salary of £90,000 – £95,000 (DOE)
– Company Car Allowance (£7,000)
– Excellent holiday allowance (with buy / sell option)

Responsibilities:
– Commercial management of projects during pre-construction stage
– Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors of all levels
– Lead procurement strategies and tendering processes
– Ensure compliance with the client and subcontractors

Requirements:
– Experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor
– Experience dealing with / managing final accounts
– Experience managing sub-contractor variations
– Industry related qualification

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Managing Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects ranging from £5m – £25m.
