About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee night works on a high-profile university refurbishment project based in King’s Cross. This is a critical role focusing on the delivery of external works while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and noise control in a sensitive, public environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and coordinate all night shift site activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.

* Oversee external work packages including: Paving installation, Stone cladding & Scaffold Package

* Maintain strict control over noise levels to comply with local regulations and avoid disruption to the surrounding community.

* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the daytime site team to ensure seamless handovers.

* Conduct nightly site inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.

* Maintain site records, permits, and daily diaries.

* Report progress and issues to the Project Manager.

* Providing a night work diary to the day time on completion of each shift

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar external works or refurbishment projects

* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

* First Aid qualification

* CSCS card (Black/White)

* Strong understanding of working in noise-sensitive environments

* Ability to lead subcontractors and ensure work is completed to spec and schedule

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

* Flexible and self-motivated with a proactive attitude
