Quantity Surveyor – Top 10 Contractor

Quantity Surveyor – a Top 10 contractor is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team based in the East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on major design and build projects ranging from £5m to £100m.

The initial project is a major research and development building for a prestigious client in the medial sector (£60m).

Salary & Package:
– Great basic salary of £55,000 – £65,000
– Company car or allowance (£5,000)

Requirements:
– Experience managing sub-contractor variations
– Experience working with a building contractor
– Experience dealing with final accounts
– Industry related qualification

Key Duties:
– Procurement and managing sub-contract packages
– Dealing with variations and valuations
– Input during pre-construction stage
– Production of CVRs

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor ranging from £5m+.
