Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Derby, East Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £42k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy, with a growing presence in the Midlands region. They are seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor who can hit the ground running and successfully service a range of commercial and domestic contracts. You will be joining a well-known name within the Environmental Compliance sector, who are able to offer further training and the opportunity to gain further P certificates / modules. Experience / Qualifications:
– Must hold the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent
– Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally within a UKAS accredited company
– Fully conversant in industry technical guidelines, i.e. HSG 264
– Good literacy and numeracy skills
– Experienced in producing site-specific reports, using IT software
– Hardworking attitude
The Role:
– Attending a mixed portfolio of commercial and domestic client sites to undertake asbestos surveys
– Conducting management, refurbishment, demolition and re-inspection surveys
– Collecting ACM samples from client premises
– Working to agreed deadlines
– Contacting clients to arrange site access
– Meeting clients to discuss findings and to give technical advice
– Ensuring to wear correct PPE at all times
– Representing the company in a professional manner
