We’re seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a windows and doors replacement scheme on occupied social housing in Berwick-upon-Tweed.

This is a hands-on role requiring a strong leader who can manage day-to-day site operations while ensuring minimal disruption to residents and strict adherence to health & safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the delivery of window and door replacement works across multiple occupied properties

*

Liaise with tenants, subcontractors, and the client to ensure smooth communication and access

*

Ensure works are completed to a high standard, on time, and within scope

*

Monitor and enforce on-site health and safety regulations

*

Maintain site records, including daily logs, inspections, and progress reports

*

Resolve issues on-site efficiently, maintaining professionalism in occupied environments

Requirements:

*

Proven experience managing works on occupied properties

*

SMSTS (or SSSTS), CSCS card, and First Aid certification

*

Excellent organisational, communication, and people skills

*

Ability to manage subcontractors and trades on a live site

*

Calm, courteous, and professional approach when dealing with residents
