Your new role
My client are seeking a hands-on Working Foreman with a strong joinery background to lead a school refurbishment project in Carnforth starting this November. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and play a key role in delivering high-quality work in a live educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate site activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Lead by example with hands-on joinery work
Manage subcontractors and trades on site
Ensure health & safety compliance and site cleanliness
Liaise with site managers, clients, and suppliers
Maintain project timelines and quality standards
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Working Foreman or Site Supervisor
Strong background in joinery (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred)
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
CSCS card
SSSTS or SMSTS
First Aid certification
Enhanced DBS – Ideally
Excellent communication and leadership skills
