Responsive Repairs Manager
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Responsive Repairs Manager to join the team, overseeing the day-to-day delivery of general responsive repairs across social housing stock, predominantly based in the North and Northwest London region. You’ll be responsible for managing a multi-trade workforce covering carpentry, plumbing, plastering, damp and mould, and general maintenance. The role involves coordinating operatives, ensuring quality workmanship, managing budgets, and maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support trade teams delivering day-to-day responsive repair works
* Monitor productivity, quality, and compliance with health & safety procedures
* Liaise with clients, residents, and internal departments to ensure effective communication
* Oversee the timely completion of works and resolve any operational challenges
* Prepare reports, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement within your team
* Manage budgets and support commercial performance of the contract
About You:
* Proven experience managing responsive repairs within social housing
* Background in general maintenance or multi-trade works (plumbing, carpentry, damp & mould, etc.)
* Excellent leadership and communication skills with a resident-focused approach
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
* Full UK driving licence
