Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor – Roofing Contractor (Housing Sector)

📍 Location: Newbury (Office-based with travel across the South Coast)

🚗 Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence essential

We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established roofing contractor operating within the housing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team delivering high-quality roofing solutions across the South Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage project costs from initial estimates through to final accounts
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
Conduct site visits to assess progress and variations
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective project delivery

Requirements:

Previous experience in quantity surveying within the construction or roofing sector
Strong understanding of housing sector projects
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the South Coast
