Multi Trader

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our team, responsible for delivering a wide range of building repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works across Council-owned properties, including both occupied and vacant housing.
You will carry out reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and major refurbishment projects, ensuring all work is completed to a high professional standard and in full compliance with current regulations, safety requirements, and best trade practices.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake building repairs, renewals, and replacements across multiple trades.
Deliver reactive and planned maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
Complete large-scale refurbishment and occupational therapy adaptation works.
Ensure work is carried out to a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.
Maintain compliance with current building regulations and Health & Safety standards.
Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and service targets.Skills & Experience Required
Competent in at least four of the following trades:

Plumbing
Carpentry
Plastering
Electrical / Part P
Tiling
Painting & Decorating
Gas Safe works
Proven experience in property maintenance and refurbishment works.
Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence (desirable)
