My client a top tier residential developer are passionate about creating homes and places that people love. With a strong reputation for quality, sustainability, and innovation, our team in Cambridge is expanding — and we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in the financial and commercial management of residential developments across the region. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and site teams, your responsibilities will include:

* Managing all costs relating to residential building projects

* Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities

* Performing risk, value management, and cost control

* Monitoring project progress and preparing reports

* Managing subcontractor procurement and payments

* Working closely with technical, construction, and sales teams to ensure financial efficiency

What we’re looking for:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential construction (ideally housebuilding)

* Relevant qualifications (HND, BSc, or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Construction)

* Strong knowledge of construction methods and regulations

* Confident negotiator with excellent numerical and analytical skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

* Strong IT skills (including MS Excel and COINS experience, if applicable)
