Electrical Compliance Manager

Compliance Manager Job Specifics
* To investigate incidences of Customer Complaints, reported poor quality installations and conduct small-works project management when required to rectify such instances and ensure client satisfaction.
* Assist in fault finding and unexpected electrical failure/break-down investigations when required
* To assist in the implementation of Company and Client Electrical Safe Systems of Work and Permit Systems
* Conduct unscheduled audits and inspections of Company and Client Electrical Safe Systems of Work and Permit Systems and issue report to all interested parties advising on improvements
* To sanction Appointed Persons and Competent Persons and ensure they are suitably qualified and experienced to conduct works as required by the Company
* Monitor, inspect and track all electrical testing equipment and specialised company tools and arrange for calibration if or when required
* Assist in the coordination of activities and documentation for allowing the Company to maintain its NICEIC membership and assist in the annual NICEIC assessment
* Keep up to date and maintain a thorough knowledge of current legislation, technical standards and industry best practice, equipment and materials
* Assist in the implementation and development of testing, compliance and commissioning procedures and plans on projects
* Complete regular compliance audits on projects to assist in the completion of finalised and approved NICEIC certification and relevant documents
* Correctly and accurately review and complete final certificates and testing results and approve for company signatures
* Review testing and inspection schedules and results on a regular basis for each project
* Respond to any compliance or regulatory question or technical clarification request in a timely manner
* Understand and give feedback regarding project specifications and client expectations
* Contribute, develop and complete annual reviews of the Company Right First Time Guide and provide continuous improvement guidance
* Contribute, develop and complete annual reviews of the Company Electrical Rules and Procedures Manual
* Advise and/or create Inspection and Testing Plans and Project-specific Trade Quality Plans
Essential Experience:
1. Previous or current experience as a NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor (Essential)
2. Experience of NICEIC Assessments and procedures (Essential)
3. City & Guilds 2391-10 Testing and Inspection or equivalent (Essential)
4. City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition Wiring Regulations or equivalent (Essential)
5. City & Guilds 2391-20 Design, Erection and Verification or equivalent (Desirable)
6. SMSTS (Desirable but training can be given)
7. LV Appointed Persons Training (Desirable)
8. JIB Grade: Approved Electrician (Minimum essential)
9. 11kV High Voltage Systems (Desirable)
10. Knowledge of Electrical Permit Systems
