CAD Technician – External Façade Systems

We are working with a long-standing contractor specialising in external envelope solutions. They’re known for their hands-on approach, technical precision, and consistent delivery across a wide range of systems including rainscreen cladding, brick slip panels, architectural metalwork, and bespoke detailing.

They are now looking for a skilled CAD Technician to join their growing team. If you’ve got a background in facades or rainscreen cladding and enjoy working closely with clients, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

Producing detailed CAD drawings for a range of façade systems including rainscreen cladding, brick slip panels, PPC aluminium goods, and bespoke flashings
Attending client meetings to support design discussions and technical reviews
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Supporting tender and construction phases with accurate, timely drawings
General CAD duties across AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor (experience in all not essential)What They’re Looking For

3–5 years’ experience in a CAD role, ideally within facades or external envelope systems
Strong AutoCAD skills, familiarity with SolidWorks or Inventor is a bonus
Confident communicator who’s happy to attend client meetings
Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative in your approach
