Maintenance Surveyor
Apricus Resourcing are working with a Housing Provider in relation to a Maintenance Surveyor for an 4-6 month ongoing contract covering Greater London.
Within your role you will be carrying out pre and post inspections for repairs in both responsive and void properties ensuring all work is to a high standard and all customers are happy with the results of works carried out.
Other duties will include:
* Offering advice to trades teams, managers and subcontractors
* Keeping a close eye contracts and progress against building schedules
* Take the lead on disrepair cases and support customers dealing with damp and mould in their homes
* Make sure void works are completed to a high standard so homes can be re-let quickly
* Measure up accurately to make sure we get repairs right first time
In order to be considered for this role you will need to be qualified to a degree level in surveying or a building-related field & have experience in dealing with the causes and issues related to damp & mould.
You will also need to be confident with diagnosing and scoping property conditions including disrepairs and be able to identify and manage problems.
Candidates will also need to be experienced in managing contractors and making sure work meets all health and safety laws. You will also be expected to manage your patch and get things done on time.
Hours
You will be working Monday – Friday 9-5 on a hybrid basis, you will be covering an area across Greater London. The team has different locations across Harrow & Whitechapel.
You need a full UK driving licence and vehicle insured for business use, mileage is covered and paid weekly.
The role is based on a rolling basis so there is possibility the position will last longer than 4-6 months.
