Site Manager – Civils

Berkshire Talent Partnership is seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to oversee and coordinate all civil construction activities on a major energy infrastructure project in South Manchester.
This role is ideal for a hands-on manager with strong technical knowledge, excellent site leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex civil works safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all on-site civil construction activities, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality expectations.
Act as the main point of contact for civil subcontractors, managing interfaces and resolving site issues efficiently.
Drive and enforce Health, Safety & Environmental compliance, conducting inspections and fostering a safety-first culture.
Oversee quality assurance and inspection processes in line with the ITP, ensuring adherence to design and specification.
Maintain accurate site documentation and reports in accordance with project procedures.
Support project leadership with temporary works, lifting plans, and short-term lookahead schedules.
Ensure excellent housekeeping, site organisation, and compliance with CDM regulations. About You
Strong track record managing civil works on large-scale energy, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
Sound understanding of site safety management, temporary works, and quality assurance.
Confident communicator with the ability to lead teams and coordinate subcontractors.
