Role: Estimator / Pre-Construction Manager (D&B Fit out)

🟠Experience: Estimating or Quantity Surveying or Pre-Con Management experience working for a D&B Fit out contractor
🟠Salary & Package: c.£70,000 – £75,000 + Perks + Commission + Progression
🟠Location: Surrey office & WFH available

Duties:

Coordinate the full subcontractor tender process, from preparing detailed bid packages to managing, assessing, and negotiating tender returns.

*

Evaluate and compare subcontractor proposals, producing clear recommendations based on technical and commercial analysis.

*

Provide pre-contract support, including bid coordination, programme input, and cost planning aligned with client objectives.

*

Lead or assist in client-facing presentations and pitch documentation to support new business opportunities.

*

Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure accurate handover of all pre-construction documentation.

*

Interpret client briefs to develop reliable cost plans and technical specifications using structured estimating systems.

*

Organise and oversee site surveys with subcontractors to verify scope, dimensions, and buildability.

*

Prepare and review all project documentation to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and consistency with site conditions.

*

Manage statutory submissions such as Planning Applications, Building Control, and Licences to Alter.

*

Negotiate supplier and subcontractor orders, variations, and final accounts to achieve best value for the project.

*

Ensure all works adhere to CDM regulations and company health, safety, and environmental policies.

*

Maintain rigorous compliance with Building Regulations and internal governance standards across all project stages.
