Our client is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Advisor to support a high-profile power and transmission project in Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities:

Provide Expert Support – Advise operational teams on environmental and sustainability matters, ensuring compliance and continual improvement.
Develop and Deliver Plans – Create and maintain environmental management and sustainability plans aligned with project and regulatory requirements.
Ensure Compliance – Oversee environmental planning, permitting, and adherence to all relevant legislation and standards.
Monitor and Improve Performance – Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
Collaborate and Engage – Build strong working relationships with clients, regulators, and key stakeholders to promote environmental excellence.
Requirements:

Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in environmental management or sustainability, ideally within construction or utilities.
Strong understanding of environmental legislation and permitting processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
