Our client is an industry leader in passive fire protection, delivering high-quality solutions that ensure safety, compliance, and peace of mind across commercial, residential, and industrial projects nationwide. With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation, they're expanding and now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take ownership of the commercial and financial management of fire protection projects from inception to completion. Working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams, you'll ensure all projects are delivered profitably, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all cost and commercial aspects of multiple projects.

Prepare and assess tenders, quotations, and contractual documentation.

Negotiate and oversee subcontractor agreements and variations.

Carry out site valuations, cost forecasting, and progress reporting.

Provide commercial guidance to project managers and senior management.

Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.

Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors.

About You

Our client is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially focused individual with strong industry experience.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within fire protection, construction, or specialist contracting.

Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Relevant degree or professional qualification (RICS membership desirable).
