Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a forward-thinking, global engineering consultancy? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading multidisciplinary design team working on some of the UK's most innovative and sustainable building projects.

The Role:

You'll be part of a dynamic Building Services team delivering electrical design solutions across a diverse range of sectors – including commercial, education, healthcare, science & research, and residential developments.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Producing detailed electrical building services designs (LV systems, lighting, fire alarms, power distribution, etc.)
* Collaborating closely with mechanical and sustainability engineers to deliver coordinated designs
* Contributing to concept, schematic and detailed design stages
* Preparing drawings, specifications, and technical reports
* Liaising directly with clients, architects, and contractors
* Supporting the delivery of projects from feasibility through to construction

About You:

My client is looking for someone with a passion for innovative and sustainable design, who enjoys working in a collaborative, team-based environment.

You will ideally have:
* A degree or HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
* Proven experience in electrical building services design
* Proficiency with relevant design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux)
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Working knowledge of British Standards and building regulations
* Progress towards, or ambition to achieve, Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
