Senior Quantity Surveyor

We're working closely with a well-regarded specialist contractor who are looking to bring in an experienced Quantity Surveyor – either at Project or Senior level – to join their facades and re-cladding division.
There's already a small commercial team in place, but they're now looking for someone who can step up and lead across both projects and the wider commercial function within this part of the business. You won't be coming in to replace anyone – this is about strengthening the team and bringing a bit more direction and leadership to the commercial side.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the commercial management of façade and re-cladding projects from start to finish

Take the lead on valuations, variations, cost reporting, procurement and subcontractor management

Work closely with site teams, project managers and external stakeholders to ensure financial performance and project delivery align

Provide guidance and support to junior QSs within the team

Be proactive in identifying risks, opportunities and efficiencies across the commercial aspects of each project
Ideally, they're looking for someone with a background in facades or re-cladding, but they're also open to QSs from a main contracting or specialist subcontractor background, provided you've got the right experience and mindset.

You'll need to be comfortable taking ownership, commercially sharp, and confident managing projects with minimal supervision
