An international cost consultancy with a strong presence across the UK, Europe, and Australia is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract Duties:

Preparing cost estimates and cost plans.

*

Advising on procurement strategies and tendering processes.

*

Identifying value engineering opportunities and managing risk.

*

Preparing bills of quantities and contract documentation (JCT suite).

*

Measurement and take-offs using Bluebeam or similar software.

Post-Contract Duties:

*

Managing cost reporting and interim valuations.

*

Handling variations and final account negotiations.

*

Resolving contractual issues efficiently.

*

Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.

Skills and Experience Required

*

Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a cost consultancy or main contractor.

*

BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related qualification.

*

RICS qualified or working towards chartership.

*

Proven experience managing projects independently.

*

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

*

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

*

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
