About the Role

We are currently seeking an Estimator or Senior Estimator to join my clients growing team based in Waterloo London. This is a great opportunity for an experienced construction professional to work on a range of refurbishment, heritage, and conservation projects across the capital.

You’ll play a key part in our estimating department, preparing accurate cost estimates and contributing to the success of complex and prestigious projects.

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret tender documentation, drawings, and specifications.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labour, materials, and plant.

*

Send out and assess supplier and subcontractor enquiries.

*

Conduct site visits to review project scope and collect measurements.

*

Meet with clients, architects, and surveyors to discuss project details.

*

Produce Bills of Quantities (BoQs), Scopes of Work, and tender programmes.

*

Support tender submissions and assist with project handovers.

Skills & Experience Required

*

Degree, HND, or HNC in Construction or a related discipline.

*

5–10 years’ experience in construction, ideally within refurbishment, restoration, or conservation.

*

Good understanding of trades such as stonework, brickwork, roofing, and first-fix carpentry/joinery.

*

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.

*

Experience using Causeway Estimating software (preferred but not essential).

*

CSCS card required.

*

Must be eligible for security clearance (CTC).
