Site Manager – Fit-Out

Salter Grange is recruiting a Site Manager to join an award-winning Irish Building Contractor that specialize in high quality fitouts and are the market leader in the Dublin commercial office space.

They also deliver high-quality projects in the residential, data centre, healthcare and industrial sector.

As Site Manager you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a large, high-profile fit-out project in Dublin City.

This project, for a prestigious client, is a fantastic opportunity to lead a specialized team and ensure the fit-out is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards. Working closely with the Project Manager, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the project.

Site Manager Responsibilities:

* Manage the day-to-day operations on-site, overseeing all construction and fit-out activities.

* Coordinate and supervise all tradespeople and subcontractors to ensure the project progresses on time and within budget.

* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, building regulations, and health and safety protocols.

* Ensure health and safety practices are adhered to at all times and enforce safe working procedures.

* Provide regular project updates and report any issues or potential delays to the Project Manager.

* Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and prompt resolution of any issues.

* Oversee site logistics, including material deliveries and resource allocation, to avoid delays and keep the project on track.

* Manage the completion of site documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, and quality control records.

* Mentor and provide support to site staff, ensuring they adhere to project specifications and best practices.

Site Manager Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager in the fit-out or construction industry, with experience leading large, high-profile fit-out projects.

* Expertise in managing specialized fit-out projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

* Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

* Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, and industry best practices.

* Relevant qualifications or trade qualifications (e.g., degree in construction management, SMSTS, First Aid) and a valid CSCS card are desirable.
