Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £16 million urban distribution warehouse project in East London (E3).
This role requires a senior professional to manage the project and team in its entirety, reporting directly to the Construction Director. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in delivering industrial, logistics, or warehouse projects and be comfortable leading large, complex builds from inception through to completion.
The project involves a high-quality steel-frame warehouse with integrated office accommodation, complex logistics, and tight programme requirements within a live urban environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the project and site team in its entirety, reporting directly to the Construction Director.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of a £16 million urban distribution warehouse project.
Oversee construction programme, ensuring milestones, quality, and budget targets are achieved.
Manage site operations including health & safety, logistics, and quality assurance.
Chair progress, design, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
Collaborate with commercial and design teams to manage costs, risks, and change control.
Maintain strong client and consultant relationships through effective communication and reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality systems, and HSEQ standards.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to the project and site management teams.
Oversee procurement schedules, subcontractor management, and resource planning.
Deliver regular reports on progress, programme, cost, and key project risks.Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management within UK construction.
Proven experience delivering industrial, logistics, or warehouse projects valued between £10m–£25m.
Strong knowledge of steel frame construction, cladding, and M&E coordination.
Experienced in NEC or JCT Design & Build contracts.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
CSCS (Black Card), SMSTS, and First Aid certifications required.
Based within commutable distance of East London (E3).What’s on Offer
