I am working with a leading contractor delivering electrical and civil engineering projects across the UK. They are now seeking an experienced Site Based Project Manager to join their team in Cambridge to oversee the construction of a new sub-station and associated civils work from start to finish.

Role Overview: As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering electrical and civils projects, ensuring they’re completed safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll manage site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage electrical and civil engineering projects through all stages.
Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with all HSEQ standards.
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and subcontractors.
Control budgets, track progress, and report on performance.
Lead site teams and ensure works are completed to specification.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in electrical and civils environments.
Background in utilities, infrastructure, or power distribution projects.
Relevant qualifications (Degree/HNC in Engineering or Construction).
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (preferred).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
