An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Small Works Project Manager to join a dynamic and lively team based in Exeter.

We are working with a reputable building contractor specialising in the refurbishment and maintenance of commercial properties across the South West. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to help deliver small works projects from initial enquiry through to completion.

The Role As a Project Manager, you will play a key part in the delivery of small projects, including estimating, surveying, and on-site management.

This is a client-facing position, where you will act as an ambassador for the business, meeting clients and consultants, and representing the clients capability and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare quotations and tenders for small works projects
Visit multiple sites weekly for surveys and pricing
Maintain and update existing client contracts
Provide accurate cost estimates and project programmes
Write Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Organise materials, labour, and other resources to ensure smooth delivery
Prepare and submit financial documents, including close-out reports and final accountsThe Person
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar construction or small works role
Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
Strong organisational and analytical abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Able to manage workload and deadlines effectively
Full UK Driving Licence requiredBenefits
