Managing Quantity Surveyor-Yeovilton

Due to the award of a major RAF Civil Engineering scheme in Yeovilton, Somerset, our client, a Major Civil Engineering Contractor who turn over in excess of £1b have the need for a freelance Managing Quantity Surveyor to support the works which involve the resurfacing of the major runway and associated drainage, groundworks and Lighting Upgrades.
Duties asssociated with this role will include overseeing a Project QS and Assistant QS, managing Sub Contractor Accounts and dealing with issues on this, attending Commercial Meetings with Senior Management and Stakeholders and Reporting.
To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of an HNC in Quantity Surevying and will have UK based Civil Engineering experience to your name gained with reputable Main Contractors with RAF experience an advantage but not essential.
In return, a top day rate is on offer and an immediate start with an ongoing contract on offer.
