Are you an experienced Construction Estimator looking to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking a detail-driven and commercially minded professional to join our dynamic team in Essex.

🔨 About the Role:

As a Construction Estimator, you’ll play a key part in the successful delivery of our projects — from initial tender through to final handover. You’ll prepare accurate cost estimates, analyse drawings and specifications, and liaise closely with clients, suppliers, and the project team. Working within public sector.

🧱 Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender documents
• Evaluate project requirements, drawings, and specifications
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Assess risks, value engineering options, and cost control measures
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure financial accuracy
• Contribute to project planning and budgeting

* project values between £1m-10m

🧰 Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office (Excel essential)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar (degree preffered)
