The Role – Contracts Manager Civil Engineering
You’ll manage multiple civil engineering projects, from planning through to delivery. Projects range from bridges and sea defence works to large commercial and industrial builds. You’ll lead teams, liaise with clients, and ensure works are delivered on time, within budget and to exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple contracts across highways, infrastructure and industrial builds

Lead project delivery teams ensuring programme and budget targets are met
*
Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
*
Oversee site performance, safety, and quality standards
*
Support planning, procurement and project reporting
*
Work closely with engineers, site managers and commercial staff
*
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
*
Drive continual improvement and team development
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within civil engineering
*
Background in civil engineering or groundworks
*
Strong commercial and leadership skills
*
Excellent communication and organisation
*
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites as required
