About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Design Manager (or a Senior Design Coordinator looking to step up) to take ownership of the design process across multiple projects. You will play a key role in managing design development from concept through to completion, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and coordination between all project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate the design process from tender through to delivery.

Liaise with architects, engineers, and internal teams to develop detailed design solutions.

*

Review and manage technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation.

*

Ensure designs meet building regulations, planning conditions, and client requirements.

*

Lead design meetings and ensure smooth communication between design and construction teams.

*

Identify design risks, constraints, and opportunities for value engineering.

*

Oversee the integration of design changes and updates during the project lifecycle.

About You

*

Proven experience as a Design Manager or Design Coordinator within housebuilding, construction, or architectural environments.

*

Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and building regulations.

*

Ability to read, interpret, and review architectural and engineering drawings.

*

Excellent communication and coordination skills with a collaborative approach.

*

Proficient in relevant design and project software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).

*

Degree-qualified in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
