Project Manager – Structural Alterations, Basement Build & Hotel Project | London & Reading

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a specialist contractor delivering a mix of cut-and-carve, basement build, demolition, and new-build projects across London and Reading. This is a key role for a technically strong Project Manager with experience running complex, high-specification schemes from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role

Lead and manage project delivery on multiple live sites, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Oversee all on-site operations and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.

Manage sequencing, logistics, and resourcing across complex, confined, or city-centre environments.

Work closely with commercial, design, and engineering teams to manage cost, quality, and change control.

Maintain strong client relationships and uphold a proactive approach to safety and compliance.

Requirements

Experience as a Project Manager within structural alteration, basement, demolition, or new-build environments.

Strong understanding of temporary works, structural sequencing, and technical delivery.

Background working for a specialist subcontractor.

Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications.

London: Cut-and-carve, basement build, and demolition projects within high-end residential and commercial sectors.

Reading: Large new-build hotel development ,approximately 12-month programme.
