Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Night Site Supervisor / Ganger to oversee night operations on a busy construction site in NW2 6DJ. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a small team of operatives, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of site operatives during night works.

*

Ensure all site activities are carried out safely and in accordance with health & safety regulations.

*

Coordinate tasks, materials, and labour to maintain smooth site operations.

*

Conduct toolbox talks, site briefings, and ensure operatives follow method statements and risk assessments.

*

Monitor progress, record daily site activities, and report to the Site Manager.

*

Liaise with subcontractors and delivery drivers to maintain workflow and minimise downtime.

*

Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant site throughout the shift.

*

Address and resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Ganger, ideally within construction or civil works.

*

SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred.

*

Valid CSCS Card.

*

Strong leadership and communication skills.

*

Sound understanding of Health & Safety practices and night site operations.

*

Ability to manage small teams and work independently during night shifts.

*

Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on supervision if required.

Additional Information

Rate: £27.00 per hour

*

Shift: Nights (exact hours TBC).

*

Start: Immediate.

*

Location: NW2 6DJ, London.

*

PPE: Full PPE required
