Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer (Temporary Contract)
Location: Hampshire
Pay Rate: £26.00 per hour
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Saturday (45-54 hours per week)
Contract Duration: Immediate start until January 5th, 2026
We are seeking a highly proficient and versatile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team for a critical temporary contract. The successful candidate will be a fully certified electrician with proven experience in diverse maintenance tasks, ensuring our client's facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Maintenance: Perform all aspects of electrical installation, inspection, testing, and repair across commercial sites.
PPM Execution: Conduct scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) checks, including Fire Alarm (FA) testing and Emergency Lighting (E-Lighting) testing.
Multi-Skilled Maintenance: Execute high-quality non-electrical reactive and planned maintenance tasks, including:
Basic plumbing and leak repairs.
Minor carpentry and joinery work.
General painting and decorating.
Compliance: Ensure all work adheres strictly to the latest IET Wiring Regulations and company health and safety procedures.
Reporting: Accurately document all work completed and report any necessary follow-up tasks.
Requirements:
Essential Certification: Must hold the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.
Technical Proficiency: Proven, demonstrable skills in general building maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, painting).
Experience: Previous experience in a multi-skilled or facilities maintenance role, ideally with exposure to commercial or industrial environments.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent time management, and ability to work independently.
