The Role As Technical Manager, you will oversee the design and technical coordination across several phases of the development. Reporting into the Head of Technical, your key responsibilities will include:

Leading the management of architectural, structural, and M&E designs
Ensuring compliance with planning approvals, building regulations, and NHBC standards
Managing external consultants and technical coordinators
Supporting procurement, construction, and sales teams with accurate design information
Driving design efficiency and buildability while maintaining quality
About You
Proven experience as a Technical Manager (or strong Senior Technical Coordinator ready to step up)
Background in residential development – either with a housebuilder, developer, or consultancy
Excellent knowledge of UK planning system, building regulations, and technical standards
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to deadlines
