Position Overview: As a Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality gas services to our clients in the social housing sector. This includes conducting routine servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and breakdown maintenance of gas appliances. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine servicing of gas appliances in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
2. Diagnose and repair gas appliance breakdowns efficiently and effectively.
3. Perform gas safety checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
4. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client queries and concerns in a professional manner.
5. Complete accurate documentation, including service reports and records of work carried out.
6. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure timely completion of service requests and maintenance tasks.
7. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
1. Gas Safe Registered with relevant qualifications.
2. Proven experience as a Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer, preferably in the social housing sector.
3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Full UK driving license.
7. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
