With a talented in-house design and delivery team, this contractor has built a reputation for producing exceptional workspaces that combine aesthetic excellence with commercial practicality. Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are now seeking a Business Development Manager to help drive new opportunities and further strengthen their presence within the London office market.

About the Role

As Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in identifying, building, and nurturing new client relationships within the commercial property and corporate sectors. This is a highly visible, outward-facing role, ideal for a confident and motivated networker who thrives on connecting people and creating opportunity.

You’ll work closely with the senior leadership and marketing teams to develop strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives, using your market knowledge and connections to generate new business opportunities across workplace design and build projects typically ranging from £250k to £10m.

Key responsibilities include:

Identifying and developing new client relationships within the London commercial office market.

Networking across landlords, agents, project managers, and end users.

*

Attending industry events, property forums, and networking functions.

*

Collaborating with internal design, pre-construction, and marketing teams to convert leads into live opportunities.

*

Managing the business development pipeline and tracking engagement activity.

*

Supporting bid submissions, presentations, and client pitches.

*

Representing the business with professionalism, energy, and credibility at all times.

This role is based in Central London with flexibility to work from home one day per week.

Requirements

Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the design & build, fit-out, or property sector.

Strong existing network within the London office or commercial property market.

Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships.

Commercially astute with a clear understanding of the office design and build process.

Self-motivated, energetic, and target-driven with a proactive mindset.
