About the Role

The company is seeking a skilled and motivated Building Surveyor to join its residential team, specialising in Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out detailed inspections and producing high-quality reports, offering professional guidance and practical recommendations to clients. This role would suit a surveyor who enjoys autonomy, values accuracy, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Undertake RICS Level 2 (HomeBuyer) and Level 3 (Building) surveys on residential properties.

* Prepare clear, thorough, and well-structured reports in line with company and RICS standards.

* Identify and assess building defects, structural issues, and maintenance needs.

* Provide professional advice to clients on property condition, repair options, and risk mitigation.

* Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations.

* Maintain compliance with RICS regulations and uphold the company’s reputation for quality and trust.

About the Requirements

MRICS or AssocRICS qualified Building Surveyor.

Proven experience in carrying out residential Level 2 and 3 surveys.

Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, and pathology.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Ability to manage work independently and professionally.

Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
