About the Candidate Needed

The client is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join their dynamic Technical team. This role will support the Technical Manager in managing multiple residential projects from inception to completion. It offers a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in housing development and technical coordination to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of projects.

You will be central to the design and planning process, managing technical outputs, working with consultants, coordinating with internal departments, and liaising with regulatory bodies.

Requirements

*

Proven experience working with architectural drawings

*

Knowledge of brownfield and greenfield residential developments

*

Exposure to medium-rise and complex housing projects

*

Familiarity with Building Regulations and current NHBC standards (desirable)

*

Previous experience in a technical or coordination role within a volume housebuilder (desirable)

Qualifications

*

Degree or HNC/HND in a technical discipline

*

CSCS card (or equivalent)

*

Full UK driving licence

Skills & Competencies

*

Strong understanding of construction methods, building materials, and relevant regulations

*

Knowledge of CDM Regulations

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

*

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to adapt to new software

*

Responsibilities Include

*

Managing technical elements across various residential sites

*

Leading design processes and appointing design consultants

*

Coordinating utilities, warranties, services, and related budgets

*

Discharging planning and building regulation conditions

*

Validating legal documentation including conveyance plans and easements

*

Liaising with Planning Authorities, Building Control, and Fire Services

*

Issuing accurate site information and drawings

*

Collaborating with Commercial and Construction teams

*

Supporting Sales and Site teams throughout the project lifecycle
