Job Title: Construction Manager

Cumberland, Cumbria

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Construction Manager to oversee a multi-discipline project currently underway in Aspatria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation construction.

This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and contractual requirements, and maintaining clear communication between all project stakeholders.

General Responsibilities:

Act as the owner's representative on site (supported by Project Manager).
Manage, coordinate, and supervise all contractors and vendors.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and safety regulations.
Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Safety Management:

Enforce company safety and health plans.
Conduct regular safety meetings and briefings.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards (supported by company safety team).
Construction Phase Responsibilities:

Manage all construction activities on site across multiple disciplines.
Monitor project progress and provide regular reports.
Support cost management, including tracking expenditures and reporting variances.
Requirements:

Proven experience in managing multi-discipline construction projects.
Strong knowledge of Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation construction.
Own laptop (email address will be arranged) and mobile phone (costs covered by company or via pay-as-you-go).
Own vehicle for site travel.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance procedures.
