Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor – Tier 1 Main Contractor | London (Hybrid Working)
Are you a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor looking to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor working on some of the most exciting construction projects across London and the M25?

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyor with strong UK construction experience to play a key commercial role in the delivery of a variety of projects including commercial, education and healthcare.

The Role
As a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management, cost control, and procurement of M&E packages across multiple construction projects. You will work closely with project teams and senior management to ensure financial performance and compliance with all contractual and client requirements.
This position offers hybrid working, with a blend of office, site, and home-based flexibility. Projects are based across London and the M25 region.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) works
Prepare and manage cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts
Lead procurement, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration under NEC or JCT forms of contract
Provide detailed cost reporting, budget forecasting, and value engineering input
Work collaboratively with design, project management, and construction teams to drive cost efficiency and project success
Ensure compliance with all UK construction standards, company policies, and health & safety requirementsAbout You

Proven track record as an M&E Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E bias) within a main contractor or building services contractor
In-depth understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) systems
Experience delivering commercial, residential, healthcare, or infrastructure projects within the UK construction sector
Strong commercial acumen with excellent cost management and reporting skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across London
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related disciplineWhat's on Offer
