1. Overall Objectives of the Post

Deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and customer-focused fire safety solutions for clients.
*
Provide technical support to the team.
Note: The team will consist of staff with varying experience levels, from Senior to Graduate. This position offers progression opportunities into management.
2. Key Tasks
2.1 Team and Project Delivery
The Fire Engineer will report to the Team Leader (Fire Engineering Division) and be responsible for delivering and managing Fire Engineering Services. Key duties include:

Assisting the Team Leader in ensuring the team provides efficient, effective, and reliable quality services that meet Best Value principles.
*
Ensuring services are delivered in line with quality standards, contractual obligations, performance targets, budgets, and legislative requirements.
*
Preparing reports and contributing to meetings as required.
*
Representing the organisation in formal and informal client interactions.
*
Participating in multi-disciplinary teams to achieve corporate objectives.
*
Regularly meeting with the Team Leader to review work requirements, objectives, and deadlines.
*
Deputising for the Team Leader when required and assisting in ensuring effective service delivery.
2.2 Project Management and Quality
*
Deliver a range of projects efficiently, embedding best practice into all solutions.
*
Provide engineering and technical advice to clients.
*
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and administrative requirements.
*
Assist in managing workloads within a professional service delivery team.
*
Identify customer needs through regular consultation.
*
Implement quality initiatives relevant to the post’s responsibilities.
3. Responsibilities

Participate in training and professional development as required.
*
Support the training and development of colleagues where appropriate.
*
Maintain a duty of care for personal health and safety and that of others.
