Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 DOE

Panoramic Associates is proud to be working in partnership with a leading built environment consultancy to appoint an experienced Associate Transport Planner. Based in their expanding Bristol office, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional with a strong background in development planning and transport consultancy.

This role would suit a Senior or Principal Transport Planner ready for the next step, or an existing Associate seeking a new challenge in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

You'll play a key role in project delivery, client engagement, and team leadership, helping to shape the future of transport planning within the business.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead and manage the successful delivery of transport planning projects
Provide expert advice to clients on transport assessments, statements, and travel plans
Undertake technical modelling using TRICS, Junctions 10, and LinSig
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across the built environment sector
Support business development and contribute to growing the consultancy's client base
Mentor junior staff and help build a high-performing transport planning team

What You'll Need:

Degree in Transport, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a related subject
Strong consultancy experience in private sector development planning preferred
Proficiency in TRICS, Junctions 10, LinSig (CAD and road safety design is a bonus)
A strong understanding of transport planning principles is essential: trip generation, trip distribution, relevant design standards, and the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
Strong commercial awareness and client-facing confidence
Excellent knowledge of UK planning policy and design standards
Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Full UK driving licence is required
