Role Overview
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and growing client base. You will play a key role in shaping the future by generating leads, managing relationships, and helping secure M&E projects across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, and industrial.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, consultants, contractors, and developers.
* Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
* Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations.
* Track market trends, competitor activity, and potential partnership opportunities.
* Maintain accurate records of business development activity and pipeline.
* Work closely with senior leadership to achieve growth targets.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or client management within the M&E contracting, construction, or building services sectors.
* Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical services and the project lifecycle
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
* Strong network within the construction or M&E industry is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Full UK driving licence
