CAD Designer / CAD Draughtsperson – Bespoke Joinery & Luxury Interiors
Location: Basildon (Workshop-based)
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)

We’re working with a specialist in high-end bespoke joinery and woodwork design, supplying some of the most prestigious restaurants and hospitality venues in London — including exclusive sites in Mayfair and other high-profile locations across the UK.

They’re now looking for a talented CAD Designer/Draughtsperson to join their workshop team in Basildon.

The Role

You’ll play a key part in turning design concepts into precise technical drawings and production-ready plans. Working closely with skilled joiners and project managers, you’ll bring unique, high-quality pieces to life — from luxury restaurant furniture to intricate interior features.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed CAD drawings and workshop drawings for bespoke joinery projects

Liaise with design and production teams to ensure technical accuracy

*

Translate design intent into clear manufacturing documentation

*

Support the workshop team with technical problem-solving and detailing

*

Ensure all work meets exacting quality and aesthetic standards

About You

*

Proven experience as a CAD Designer/Draughtsperson in joinery, furniture, or interiors

*

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials (particularly timber/veneers)

*

Proficient in AutoCAD or similar design software

*

Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship

*

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, design-led environment
