Job Title: Freelance Project Manager – £15m Industrial New Build

Location: Poole, Dorset
Contract Duration: 12 months (Start ASAP)
Day Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35 )

The Opportunity:

We’re recruiting for an experienced Freelance Project Manager to lead a £15m new build industrial / logistics scheme in Poole, Dorset. This is a fantastic opportunity to take full responsibility for delivering the project from start to completion with a respected Tier 2 Contractor that has a strong pipeline of industrial and commercial work in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Full project delivery from pre-start through to handover.

*

Oversee all on-site operations, subcontractor management, and programme delivery.

*

Manage the project team including site management and engineering staff.

*

Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

*

Control quality, progress, and financial performance against agreed targets.

*

Liaise closely with the client, design team, and senior management.

*

Drive productivity and maintain high standards of workmanship throughout.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Project Manager on industrial or logistics new build schemes (£10m+).

*

Strong knowledge of steel frame construction and warehouse fit-out.

*

Background with Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractors preferred.

*

Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certification.

*

Available for an immediate start and able to commit for the full 12-month duration.
