Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Estimator with a strong background in refurbishment and general construction? Our client, a well-established contractor operating across multiple sectors, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team and support tender submissions for projects ranging from £50,000 to £2 million.

Role Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual based in the Midlands or surrounding areas. You'll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of projects, including custodial, education, commercial, residential, and maintenance works.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for tenders (£50K-£2M)

Analyse material, labour, plant, and subcontractor quotations

Conduct risk assessments including inflation and logistics

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on pricing and documentation

Maintain clear audit trails for all estimates

Operate independently across the Midlands and Northern regions

Provide own transport; full UK driving licence required

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 4 years' experience in estimating for refurbishment and construction projects

Relevant qualifications (RICS, BSc, BEng, CIOB preferred)

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Excellent communication and attention to detail

Full UK driving licence and regional travel flexibility

DBS certification (preferred)
