Fire Door Surveyor

Role Overview:
The Fire Door Surveyor will carry out detailed fire door inspections, reporting on condition, compliance, and remedial requirements across multiple client sites. The role suits someone with a keen eye for detail, strong technical understanding, and a drive to progress within the passive fire industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct fire door inspections and surveys in line with FDIS / FIRAS standards

Identify defects and provide recommendations for remedial works

Produce accurate digital reports with photographic evidence

Liaise with clients and internal teams on survey findings

Support wider passive fire operations as required

Key Requirements:

Experience inspecting or surveying fire doors (minimum 2 years preferred)

Knowledge of BS 8214, BS 9999, and certification requirements

Full UK driving licence essential

FDIS / FIRAS qualification advantageous
