Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor

Abatec are recruiting a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a tier 1 civil engineering contractor in Swindon. The company are working on a long-term Highways framework in Hampshire. The appointed candidate will be responsible for multiple projects whilst also guiding a small team.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:

* Maintain accurate records, control and reconcile costs and value, report variances against agreed performance, compliance and finance targets.

* Take control of change management and manage final accounts.

* Be responsible for subcontract procurement and managing their accounts.

Our client requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor with:

* Previous experience of working for a Tier 1 Civil Engineering contractor

* Experience of commercially delivering multi-million-pound schemes.

* Strong commercial awareness and acumen.

* Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.

* Experience of NEC forms of contract.

Salary and benefits include:

* £400-£450 per day Outside IR35
